Hi

Please don't laugh but I tried to change a front bulb for more than half an hour. I wasn't able to remove the electric cable. :( Do you have a special key for it?

Greetings,
Thomas

I don't know about European NSXs, but I changed my light bulb a couple of moths ago, and while it was tricky it did not require any special tool. Just keep working at it, it should eventually come off. Good luck!

I assume you are referring to the headlight bulbs.

You should be able to remove the plug from the rear of the bulb by wiggling it slightly.

You will then need to remove the metal piece that holds the bulb in place.

When you install the new one, the glass portion must be clear of any oils or fingerprints. Before installing, wipe it with alcohol, and make sure you don't touch that part on the way in.

Thanks for the support.

I've pulled with more than 10 kg. I'm seriosly concerned about breaking something. I've changed the other one a year ago and it was also quite tricky but this year seams to be quite harder on the other side.

Greetings,
Thomas

Can you slide the blade of a flat screwdriver between the connector socket and the base of the bulb and twist? Try some WD-40 first. When you finally are ready to replace the bulb, it's always a good idea to put some dielectric grease in the socket first.

I finally got it with a tongs (maybe wrong word for it). But it's still a tricky job.

Thanks to all supporters! :)

Greeings,
Thomas

Tweezers are small, and usually used for grasping something very small, such as removing splinters:

Tongs are large and are used for picking up objects that would otherwise be difficult to hold, such as ribs on a barbecue:

Pliers come in lots of shapes and sizes, from the common slip-joint pliers:

to locking pliers:

to needle-nose pliers:

Pincers are usually for cutting, not grasping:

The connector at the back of the light bulb should be sqeezed(with all puppy power inside of you) and then slides off easy, so sqeeze 20 times harder than you pull, this is the reason why it worked with the pliers probably.

Hi nsxtasy

Thank you very much for the english lesson. :)
