My plate has the wrong screws holding it. They are sheet metal looking. What is the thread and pitch supposed to be? Jeff

Only 2 screws are in it now and they are not bottomed out.I think it is a plastic theaded hole so it should accept the proper screw if anybody knows the size. Jeff

Thanks for the info. 6mm x 15mm is the diameter and lenght. Is it a 1mm pitch also? Jeff

Now that I know what I am looking for,I will look around the shop to see if I have any aluminum or Titanium ones .You know so I can Go Faster.... Jeff Allstarbikeshop.com

Don't go spending a million dollars on plate screws even on an NSX as somone suggests. You should be able to go to the sales dept. of your local Honda / Acura dealership and they will most probabily have them in plastic and will give them to you for free. If you have to buy them they are 10 cents ea., do get S.S. if you have you buy them so they won't rust and look dodgie.

What if the female-threaded insert in the bumper is trashed? Can you get to that area to repair or replace the insert?

Just tap the license plate screw holes with the correct size tap. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Thanks. It became apparent once I looked at it. The threads were too far gone to restore with a 6mm tap, but a 1/4-20 (gasp) worked. At some point, I'll heli-coil it back to 6mm to keep it authentic...
