I started this thursday afternoon and finished by the late evening.

for Tim @ NRG. it goes in for paint friday tomorrow.
my friend Mike at MV Designz is working on a customer's GPW NSX right now that's getting the same treatment. that car came in 2 weeks ago.
let's see who finishes first

Front Bumper by Downforce. Thanks to Peter. Fitment is superb.
no mod's necessary.
Headlight's are Honda OEMs
hood is used. its an early model prototype carbon fiber hood.
looks similar to RM?
HIDs and lighting provided by ME.
Conversion done by ME

test fit came out perfect.
parts are coming off tomorrow and going in for prep and paint.
you should be seeing an 02 style NSX in Brooklands Green for the first time in NSX history shortly.

front end dissassembled

mocked up. not bolted yet.

most bolts are on. headlights are floating without bolts or brackets. they go on tomorrow.

fits good doesn't it?

For those that want to know about the Downforce bumper.
its about 1/4 of the weight of OEM. you can curl this all day and your biceps will turn into veal.
the bumper can flex and will not crack. how do i know? i tried it.
Fitment is superb, lines are perfect.

so who's next to do the 02 Type-R?

WOW mike,
that is really good! will definetly let all my customers know.
Type-R aluminum hood for 91-01 pop-ups. Very Nice custom work there.
I think Allen and his buddies are already waiting in line for your hood.

I will have O2 and up hood.

It's alot easier to race on install when you only have one car to focus on and one car to work on. Try racing when you have show cars to pump out with SEMA expectations. Be realistic...if you really want to set up a race, let me know..i'll set it up and we put some money on it and bring in some judges.

I think Erick meant it as a joke if anything, nothing serious.

So you working on Jason's car also?

Can't wait to see his car done. I'm sticking to my NA1 look, although I would consider buying a NA2 conversion if the price is right in the future.

Good job. My steering wheel is still screeching by the way. More WD40?

jason,
I checked over your car at MV designz and the only word out of my mouth is "awesome." I'm so jealous...I can't wait to get mine going, but you know..november is around the corner, property tax comes before conversion. I'll be over at MV tomorrow to see the complete J-ride, but the paint job is kick ass...Mike really did an awesome job fading the color to match the OEM paint perfectly.

any way you slice it, new or used parts.

the minimum drop to do the front end conversion will run atleast 5g's.

paint and install is dependant on how you like to spend. the more you spend, the less flaws you get.

or you can go to:
MV Designz
1514 N. Susan St. #D
Santa Ana, CA 92703
(714) 554-2728

the do more than just paint and install.
they do design and custom fabrication as well.
it's a one stop shop to get everything done.

and they'll do everything right the first time. no questions asked, no contest.
the GPW NSX in there right now is getting quite some extra TLC with the conversion. Mike, Tony, and especially, i mean ESPECIALLY Leif are very passionate about their work.

if you do not know. a lot of hardcore NSX guys are sending and shipping their NSX for MV Designs for custom work. Their cars always come out "SHOW READY"

it's 11pm in the evening, I just got home from MV designz checking out Jason's conversion progress...and it's looking awesome man. The boyz at MV are really putting some time into the car, everything looks factory fit and all brakets and wiring are super clean. I never get bored looking at the beauty of these conversion...When erick got his done and now Jason J-ride. I need to get cracking asap on this.

Jason,
your car is pretty much complete. Bumper is on, lights are on, fitment is awesome, color is clean, lines are smooth, need I say more....

I'm glad you brought it to MV designz, there's way to many body shops out there the say they can do this and that but the end result still is Crap, not only that...they jack up the car cuzz they can't drive it or they store it outside and say they are not responsible for missing parts the next day.
