Just wondering, when people refer to the left side of the car, do they usually mean the driver's side? From my understanding, Left = driver's side and Right = passenger's side, however, my friend begs to differ. Need some help here. Who is right?
The left side of the car means the side of the car that is to your left when you're sitting in the car facing forward. This is the driver's side of the car for cars made for North America and continental Europe. However, this is the passenger's side of the car for cars made for the U.K. and Japan.
