I've been working on a variation of this setup for a few local nsxprime guys....The main problem when you use "individual" LED's is the reliability factor. When new they always look great but over time, it will FAIL, just a matter of time. Keep in mind cars are not like computers, etc.....the environment has moisture, heat, vibration (all of which will eventually destroy the LED connections).This is why I have chosen not to use larger LED's. The ones we use have been tested over 6+ months of use in various cars and proven to be much more reliable. I'm building a set into a 91+ fog light with some CF accents so hopefully will have some prototypes finished this week. (just have too many projects for others I'm doing right now).
