I am paranoid of someone hitting me in the rear,, ie women on cell phones in SUVs. So I added a pair of Hyperlites to the inside of my center tail light lens. I have these on my motorcycle as a safety feature so figured it couldn't hurt on the NSX. http://www.hyperlites.com/

So far so good, they are very bright and flash for 5 seconds before going to a solid red. They should help in getting peoples attention as I'm stopping... Here's a picture off of their website as an example.

Here's a picture, obviously it flashes for 5 seconds and then turns solid red.
It's a LOT brighter then the stoplights or the spoiler light.. Get's the attention of "rubber neckers" when you're stopping.

You can NOT see them when they're not illuminated.

no problem, will get pic today.. you can't see them unless they're elluminated. I just tapped into one of the brake lights. LED should be a very low current load so I suspect I'm ok. Quick test drive didn't set off any issues. Looks to be working fine. I did remove the Accura sticker from inside the lens though.
