Was the video really shot on a hidden camera installed by the Canadian police? Do they need a warrant to do that there? I wonder if any U.S. law enforcement agencies has done something similar to capture reckless drivers.

According to the site where this was originally posted the car is a VW Golf VR6 and the video was shot in Montreal. People even identified the highways and the car dealership where he pulls in. One individual claimed to be the driver's cousin but that was never verified and no more was said about it. This has apparently been around since, I think, 2000.
