Las Vegas October Meet (Saturday 10/28 - Pahrump)

Collectively, we had decided to do a cheering section for Lance on October 28's Pahrump Track Event. Please kindly see the following:

Date: Saturday, October 28
Time: 11:00am - 11:20am
Place: Lamborghini of Las Vegas (7770 Dean Martin Dr.)
Remark: Pre-meet before the caravan to Pahrump

Time: 11:20am
Caravan: Depart Lambo of LV for Pahrump. Cheerleaders in short skirts are welcomed. Track session should break for lunch at 12noon where we will catch up with Lance. Lunch location at Pahrump to be decided.

I will be there. I had hoped to drive my Integra Type R track car in this event, but they were sold out. So at least I can still enjoy the event as a spectator. :smile:

Don't forget that the gate closes at 9:00am when the track goes hot and that the track management will whack you a $5.00 head fee for every head in the car.

Anyone that wants a ride in the BOOSTZILLA car drop me a note. :biggrin:

Remember that the GATES CLOSE at 9:00AM as the track goes HOT at that time. If you guys get there after that, please come after 12:30 and before 1:30 as that is the gates open lunch break.

Don't forget the track gets $5.00 for the privilege of your presence for all of your posse.

Anyone registered as a driver does not have to pay the $5 as you already have in your entry fee. Glad you all can make it - we are now in an e-mail blackout until Sunday - see you there.

It was a beautiful day and another strong turn-out for our group. Danny's USCC Champion showed up at Lambo LV but unfortunately can't join us at the track due to "On Call". Bryan also came to Lambo LV but was too busy to join Pahrump run. My co-worker David (Mini-Cooper) decided to join us all the way to check-out our NSX scene. BTW, he is looking to purchase his first NSX. Bill, Bob, Nik, Peter, and Tom all showed up and took the drive to Pahrump.......Thanks for the support guys.......But none of you brought your pomp pomps???

BTW.......Congratulations to Bob for tying the nod two weeks ago........:wink:

Half way to Pahrump we bumped, literally, into Jason in his 911 Turbo. Bill tried to show-up his boss and I had to do a little fancy footwork just to stay in range.

The group did a little cheering for our local racer......great driving.......Lance........ Mike Angle and his crew was busy tending to the former Realtime racer and Ken's Time Attack hopeful. Below are a few shots I managed to take. Although pale next to Tom's, please enjoy.......

So who posted the best lap times? How was the Boostzilla car? Did we ever come up with any development for the LV NSX group?

Nice pics Paul! Plus the descriptions help to "fill in the blanks" for people not in attendance. I would also like to thank Lance for letting me ride along for an entire 20 minute session! :smile: Lance had the line nailed down, and was obviously having fun!

That was the first time I've ever had the chance to ride in an NSX on the track. To say I was impressed with the predictable handling, and overall balance of the car on the track is an understatement! Thanks again Lance!
