L.A. Area Christmas Party

Hello Everyone:

Mark your calendars...
We will be having a Christmas Party for all NSXCA members in the L.A. area (San Luis Obispo to the Mexican Border! ) on the evening of December 21, 2002.

We are planning on giving Alex and Annette Vizcarra a break this year and have the party in a unique way. We are arranging for a Dinner Cruise on a Riverboat out of Shoreline Village in Long Beach! The club will partially subsidize the cost of this party, so it may cost a few dollars each to attend. The total cost is $40 to $45 per person so your cost will be less than that. We are still working out the details and we will let you know them as we can. This will be a 2.5 to 3 hour cruise with dinner provided. We are also working with the company to arrange for special secure parking while we are cruising.

Just a reminder, this is an event for NSXCA members only. If you are not a member and would like to join us, your cost will be $40 higher than members and you will become a member of the club.

Uhhh... oh! Don't jinx it John. He's not crying quite yet... they put the batteries in around 2-3 months.

Sounds like fun. I plan to go as well. I need to renew my membership too as I think it may have just expired. Still have those forms available? We can take care of it this Thursday.

Hello Again:

I have received a few responses about the upcoming Christmas party Dinner
Cruise. It seems that I forgot to mention that the annual NSX Gift Exchange
WILL be held during the cruise (that is one of the reasons for not having
the show as part of our cruise). So just think of this party like the past
parties, except the house is floating in the Long Beach/Los Alimitos Harbor!

I have gotten a few responses. Can I get a quick show of hands how many of
you would like to attend? Please respond privately to me so we don't
clutter up the list with your responses. I would like to get a feel for the
first cut at the size of our group by no later than Friday 11/22/02. This
will do two things: First, I will be able to more closely "size" the group
to the steamship company and Second, will allow us to determine the amount
of subsidy the club will be able to afford.

Please let me know YES or NO (privately) ASAP

I should have information on the dinner selection tomorrow.
