Does anyone have experience tracking the Kumho Ecsta v710? I have been running the Advan A048, but they have been discontinued. Any other suggestions for a reasonably priced R compound for HPDE events? I have the stock 16/17 wheels. Thank you.

I've run V710s and R888s on my MR2 Turbo. The V710 is marginally stickier in absolute terms, but will not last nearly as many events. The R888s are on their 4th HPDE weekend and I can't see much significant wear. I'm no pro driver, but to me the R888s were a little less snappy at the limit (possibly just because they let go sooner). Both are pretty reasonably priced IMO.
