I was looking for info on the 8pot desing from this brake kit and found this:
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75034&highlight=ksport

I would like to know if any of you guys end up using them?

If so how are the holding up, also somewhere in that thread said that were Willwood rebatched? how do they know this?

I was about to buy a set today for the track, But I though I'd ask first.

Thanks,

-MSR

If you can buy stoptech for that price (which you can) then why would you buy them?

just a copy-cat fabricator offering a knockoff replica of a genuine kit...

Ksport USA BBK...

If anything, I'd venture to assume they were replicas of Willwood BBK's.

Ksport USA, D2 Racing NA, G4 Racing, F2 (Form & Function Autolife), Megan, ARK, et'al are all replica's of actual genuine JDM import/tuner parts & components. Funnier yet, they even appear to be knockoff replicas of each-other. Country-of-final-assembly doesn't matter as even Tein, HKS, GReddy, and others fabricate some of their offerings outside of Japan, but they maintain a level of QA/QC as well as having actual R&D alongside quality materials & workmanship. Just like how iPhones (arguably the best designed/assembled handsets) are assembled in China, but designed in the USA.

This thread linked below is money, I actually have it bookmarked:

Now... w/ all that said, if I had a bling-bling glitzy showcar NSX w/ 18/19's (of which the OEM/stock brakes would look puny & oversized 4-corner offerings from Brembo, Spoon, Zeal, Project u, Willwood, Rotora, Stoptech, etc' would be $$$)... and I primarily used this dolled'up NSX of mine as a boulevard cruiser & date'nite ride - I'd give consideration to knockoff replica BBK's from one of the copycat fabricators. . .

Not the real deal at all. Not even to Wilwood specs!

More pistons =/= better

Look at post #20:

Just stick with Brembo, stoptech, or AP (in that order). Pad selection is plenty, their is a lot of testing and development that went into those kits for the car, and you'll be much happier with the feel, performnance, and reliability.

May be 30-50% more expensive up front, but the lack of headaches, problems, failures (maybe), will be far greater than the 30-50% higher cost.

$0.02
Performance Friction is arguably the best system on the market, but you get what you pay for $ (although less expensive and more advanced than the famed "Brembo Indy" kit.

I'm not sure if they are knockoffs of wilwoods but rather one of the many (fairly easily manufactured) calipers from Asia. There's actually a lot of technology that goes into a proper brake caliper to maximize stiffness and resist the extreme heat and twisting environment it will be under. While from the fundamental point of view, it can be as archaic and basic as a block with pistons and lines running to those pistons. Companies like PFC, Brembo, and Stoptech are all active in motorsports. Can't go too wrong with either of those.
