I am sending this message to see what kind of response I will get on setting up a long weekend drive to Knoxville TN?
Date: June 23-26 2011 (after fathers day weekend)
Meeting location A= I-80/I-94/Illinois 394 South Bound oases 06:00am CST (Chicagoland area)
Meeting location B= Ed Martin Acura (Indy) around 10:00am EST <o></o>
Meeting location C= Courtesy Acura Lexington KY around 01:00pm EST<o></o>
Final destination Marriott Knoxville Downtown? Any other suggestions are welcome.
Friday Day 1: 08:00am (breakfast), Route 129 (the dragons tails), cherohala pwy, lunch Tellico Plains. Continue south on RT 68 to Cleveland Tn. Cleveland TN back to Marriott. Dinner at the Butcher block downtown Knoxville. Total Miles 300/ 5 hrs
Saturday Day 2: 08:00am (Breakfast) Asheville NC (Biltmore Estate) tour. Take the Blue Ridge parkway back, dinner in Gatlinburg TN TBD. Total miles 300/ 6 hrs
Sunday Day 3: Leave anytime.
Any suggestions are always welcome. All Acura dealers have been contacted and look forward to seeing the group. I have left a message with the hotel on group rates for the rooms. The Hotel does have a garage. If this hotel does not work out then I will look at the Hilton downtown Knoxville. Please PM via prime on all interested parties with your email and cell phones.
