Kids in NSX

Is the front passenger airbag linked to a weight sensor in an 04 NSX? I know the older models didn't have this but wanted to know if it was updated by 04. Trying to determine what the safety precautions are for taking my kids in the NSX.

I was under the impression that they added a manual airbag-disable switch in the glovebox in the later years. My 2000 has no such functionality but I've considered adding one.

Edit: I guess that because you are asking, my impression is clearly wrong. I will try to remain quiet rather than making things up.

I thought this thread was going to be about scotch gard and plastic seat covers lol.

I removed and re installed OEM 2004 seats a few times and they don't have any other connectors except for the one for the electric rails.

I'm 99% positive those seats don't have any kinds of weight sensors.
