My keyless entry stopped working all of a sudden  The light on the remote blinks so I know its not the battery. I just had some work done on my car so my something was done. Any ideas?

Blown fuse in the receiver box. Happened to me after getting some work done. Tim

are you referring to the fuse box?

Hi Mike,

No it is a 3 amp fuse located in the little harness of the keyless enrty box behind/under the glovebox. Been there done that:). You will most likely have to take the glove box out, unless it is hanging down.

Should be able to get to this by just removing the lower tray w/o having to remove the whole glove box I would expect ....

mmm....

Yes Ken, you are probably right, can't recall why I Had to take the glove box out. Anyway I hope you are for Mike's sake:):).

This happens to me about 50% of the time.. The LED lights up but it takes some more pushing to get the car to unlock. Added a fresh battery.. same thing..

Any other ideas (can't be the fuse since it works some of the time)..

TIA!

It is a reasonably well-documented (on NSXPrime) problem that the in-line fuse (3A) will sometimes blow when battery is disconnected/reconnected or even a jump-start is performed: clearly these are "normal" activities that should NOT create such consequence, but does - so this is a primary thing to check for in event of such failure.
This should definitely be in FAQ imo

well, im pretty positive that it has something to do with the hood latch. If I press down on it gently (dont worry-no dents) the keyless entry will suddenly work. I trying to figure it out. Any other ideas. Its definatly not the battery.

That is probably your problem then - the keyless entry will not work (i.e. lock/unlock the doors) if your hood is open and the hood switch is an interlock for that function.
You may need to adjust the switch position or the actuating lever on th ehood if it's bent or conversely your hood adjustment if it's not pulling down tight enough to begin with.

See this thread for pics of location of the switch & actuator arm
