I went to Delay Acura's website and they shwo two different keyless entry part numbers...
08E60-SL0-201F KEYLESS ENTRY 1995 NSX 469.00 375.20
08E60-SL0-200 KEYLESS ENTRY 1995 NSX 224.40 179.52

As you can see one is $179 and the other is $375... what's the difference?

They show the same two part numbers for my 1991.

I know that the keyless entry system for the 1991-92 NSX costs roughly the less expensive price shown (and is discontinued, BTW), and the keyless entry for the 1993-2003 NSX costs roughly the more expensive price shown.

Based on these statements, the conclusion I would draw is that the less expensive part number is the system for the 1991-92 NSX, and the more expensive part number is the system for the 1993-2003 NSX, even though the website shows both parts for both ranges of years.

I realize that technically, they should only show the part numbers that apply to the particular year you're looking up, but the online parts lookup functions don't always work that way.

See below
(the 93+ goes all the way to 2005 on the chart - just cut off in the screen shot I took)
Strange - the 91 & 92 models are different part #'s while only the 92 is actually designated discontinued .....
The last chart shows the correct application for your 95.

After-market alarm - not quite plug 'n' play like the OEM keyless entry, but does offer you a host of additional features. One serious ommision on the OEM keyless is a trunk 'pop'.

How about something like this for $39? Just a remote function for doors & trunk & couple of other functions if you want them - I can help you with the wiring locations to hook into if you need assistance.

Wouldn't be too difficult at all - you will have to splice into some of your OEM wiring with some T-taps & spades for which you'll need a crimping tool/wire stripper - pick up something inexpensive like this one from Radio Shack if you don't plan to use it much. You should get some butt splices as well - you can pick those up at Radio Shack also (get some red ones and some blue ones).
You'll need a relay for the trunk-pop - that one comes with harness already so easy install.
Or you could buy a single kit which should have everything you need (& some extra!) in this start-up kit

I don't want this to sound intimidating - should be fairly straight forward & I can give you the wires & locations on the car to tap into.
The OEM's biggest advantage is that it is Plug n Play, but if you have even rudimentary electrical skills this is a very do-able DIY.
You can also look at having a stereo/alarm shop install it for you if you don't feel confident to tackle it yourself.

The part number on my '91 dealer installed unit is:

08E61-SLO-2000-02

I am looking for remote fobs as when I received the are there weren't any with the car.

Can someone lookup this part number for me? Let me know the details on the part lookup?

thanks.

Why don't you call JR at Ray Laks Acura and do it for yourself. He will get you the numbers and get you the best price around. If they can be found he'll find it. 1-888-RAY-LAKS

Cheers
