Keyless entry not working

Thought the batteries were dead, but apparently my system isn't working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

perhaps a fuse?

The receiver has a in-line fuse that sometimes blows. The receiver is under the glove box and the in line fuse is taped to the wiring harness behind the glove box.
