For those looking for a great detailer in the Kansas City area, I highly recommend you call Matt Vesey at Mattie’s Premium Detailing who works out of Rosso Motorsports in Stilwell Kansas (913-424-0779). He came recommended to me by another Prime member (thanks Joseph) so I figured he’d do a good job. Well that’s an understatement! Matt does excellent work, is extremely knowledgeable about car care products and goes the extra mile to make sure you’ll be happy with the result.
I’m a perfectionist, can’t help it, it’s just the way I’m wired, especially when it comes to my NSX. Matt is even more so. He used a 5 step process (wash, clay, wet sanded a few areas, machine polish with different compounds and topped it off with 3 coats of hand polish). The car looks better than new! Anyway, I was supposed to pick the car up and Matt called to tell me it wasn’t ready…he wasn’t happy with how the roof turned out and needed get a special product that he typically does not use. Because it was a Saturday, and they didn’t deliver on the weekends, Matt went to the supplier and got the stuff he needed. It worked like a champ. All I can say is the result is unbelievable! I suppose he could have said it looked good enough, or the customer will probably never notice, but not Matt. In the end, I wish I had taken some before shots - but rest assured I’m extremely satisfied with what Matt did and wanted to share my experience.
