Kawagen Diffuser

First ones in North America as far as I know and I just put them on recently. The Kit is great and the quality is so so....but overall its awesome. Looking at it from behind you can really see how aggressive it is. Its much more expensive than the Taitec diffuser and maybe even the sorcery. But I really like this alot more. I drove around for a week with this on and man did i get looks from almost everyone.

I took this off because I just lowered my car and its like 2" off the ground. This of course due to the factory exhaust and its bulky oval body. Im still waiting for my taitec exhaust to come from japan then I will put it on again, but this time would be able to adjust it to the height I want. The diffuser comes with a triangular peice that the company forgot to send me from what I understand. so it might look off. these triangular peices attatch to the underside of the rear bumper.

There is some drilling / cutting involved on this kit....as you can see the wings on the side is a separate piece and the bolts given is not enough. I had to buy 8 more nuts and screws so I could hold them strongly to the center piece....I might have done an overkill on it but Id rather have it on the car than fly off....

I got some nsx customers here in T.O. asking me to order it for them.. but a part of me wanted to leave it exclusively to myself heheh....so selfish of me....:D I will probably ship them in still.

Yup does nothing for me either. But hey, its your car and your option to style it anyway you choose. Personally, I would go with the taitec diffuser becasue the fitment, quality, and looks are better IMHO. Just my little $.02;)
 
Look nice. Is is CF all around or just underneath and on the sides? I would have a problem with it if the CF was only on the bottom, which does nothing for looks unless you're looking at it from underneath.

Just a suggestion, how about painting the nuts/bolts/hangers black to hide them? I think it'll give it a much cleaner look so it doesn't look like a home made job.

How much did it run you?

That looks very heavy and the alignment on the carbon fiber look a little mess up. My hood is from Kawagen and they have the same problem. My Sorcery Diffuser is better and lighter.

well its your car and if you like it well just leave it on. I had a big tail on my NSX and some people thought it look really cool and others thought it did not. But I use to get 4 out of 5 people who like it.

There you gooo....positive thinking.....thanks to the others for the non support....I thought this was a support group.....:D

Anyway...I like it....even if its a plow on the rear of my car.

Im gonna put a big wing on just for those people who didnt like this diffuser.

Not necessarily - that's only among those who tell you whether they like it or not. Most people who like something, are happy to let you know. Most people who don't like something, are not likely to tell you. People try to be nice, most of the time - and more so in person than on the internet.

When was the last time you told a woman that you think she's ugly? :eek:
 
that thing is terrible.. looks like it is about to fall off.... maybe add some duct tape... it will look better.. more like something from the south :)

some times you get support and sometimes you don't. I use to think like you that people would support you after all it is the NSX forums. plus for all the people that thought my big tale did not look good then why was my car in a magazine and why does the tail cost so much money if it looks bad then.

Because it looked different, and magazines can't keep showing cars that look the same.

Just because something costs a lot, doesn't mean it looks good. To cite just one example, look at the Range Rover.

If you like the looks of your car, that's great! Because you're the only one who needs to like it.

But if you ask the question here, people will tell you what they think. And if it's not what you wanted to hear, well... then you probably shouldn't have asked.
 
hey hey be nice guys......ugly is in the eyes of the beholder...you guys who think its ugly is fine...dont bother me a bit ....if one out of 1500 like it...well thats ok too.....thats why I posted it so i can get feed backs....

but please if you dont like it just say you dont like it and dont get over analyzing on this issue.

As for my wing.....just wait and see coz if ya'll think the diffuser is FUGLY then this wing will top it....but not in my eyes.:D

This cars gonna rock.....hehehe.......
 
its not to my taste either, looks like a mechano set. People here do, support each other that doesnt mean everyone has to like everything you do. its a car enthusiast community, not a specific mod community. As long as you like it thats all that matters! Im interested in seeing the wing though ;)
