On Thursday, questions were raised about whether he padded his resume to highlight his previous emergency management background.

yes. i was dumbfounded when i began to read of his/their background and lack of actual emergency organization experience they had. given 9/11 and the strong likelihood we'll be the subject of additional terrorist actions - many predict dirty bomb - i'm *stunned* that we're not top heavy with the most experienced disaster folks we can hire.

this reinforces the perception that cronyism is rampant in government - and to be clear - the bush administration didn't invent cronyism.

<sigh>

there's an **awful** lot to be said for being prepared to take care of you and your loved ones in any given situation.
