Got out and got my NSX a little brother (MR2) last month, drove it all the way home from MA, man I just love that mid engine, RWD thing, I think I'm hooked...

Anyways, here's my babies

I had me a 92 MR2 Turbo when I lived in Okinawa, man was that thing fun, but really hard to enjoy it so much on a small crowded island.

That MR2 need some lovin'! Got any plans for it? MR2 Turbo's are awesome cars and are becoming a real classic Sport Compact Car:wink:

Yeah, you got that right! It can really use some TLC. I called it the "stinky beast". It drives like a beast and stinks like a beast. When I first drove it home (from MA to NE, 1500miles  ) I noticed this god awful stink, at first I thought it was mold, I thought it was a flood car or something, then I recognized that smell, it's the smell of a dead rodent. I mean it was so bad, I have to roll down the window every few minutes just to catch some fresh air! Sure enough, when I got home, I found this "nest" under the hood in front of the firewall, with fur ball and leaves, was 1/2 of a disintegrating mole, OMG, that churned my stomach...and there are many other "issues" too, but sure makes for a lot of good stories. My NSX however, was too perfect to have any stories....
I'm planning once the engine dies, put in a V6 from the Camry:biggrin: Maybe it can catch up with the NSX then:biggrin:

looks good doc! glad to see your baby is still hanging around. but you've got competition. there is a new red 1994 in town with cali license plates on it... you've got a look-a-like! (I saw it twice, and my friend is the receptionist at Acura of Omaha, and she tells me whenever they have an NSX in....)

Hope you have a Happy Holiday!

Really!? We've got to go out and hunt it down, as a matter of fact, I haven't even seen Todd's yet. I try to take mine out for a ride at least once a week, like walking the dog:biggrin: to keep things lubricated. As a matter of fact, I was just up the street from your parents for thanksgiving for the "outlaws"
How did you know this red one is a 94? Did your receptionist friend tell you? Hey, does that mean you get discount at Acura??

Lol. I saw the NSX in the garage up there a couple months ago when i was driving home and just about ran off the road while twisting my head 180 degrees to stare.

As for Todds? I saw it about a month ago on 84th and hes got a GT500 wing on the back and OMG it looks mean. I didn't think i liked big wings, but on his car it just looks aggressive. You have GOT to see it sometime.

My receptionist friend did tell me that it was a 1994. It was in for major maintenance, and while she didn't know what exactly, his bill was over 3k, so it must've been timing belt, clutch etc... As far as a discount, i don't know. I'm still having them try and hunt down a NA1 for me. They are getting in a 1996 NSX-T Red/Blk with 4k miles on it. So i recommend you go trade in yours to buy that because I cant afford it, and i'll buy your car from the dealer and be able to trade in my yellow P.O.S. on that. Mmmmkay?

Man, now I really want to see it, let's go and harass him! You call him up!

While I like that idea very much, I believe I'm grounded...by my wife, after the last purchase...for unsafe, unsanctioned, unauthorized purchase.:frown:

lol. well its something to throw around with her... ya know, start sneaking subtle hints in that you'd like a slightly newer car with less miles, that would be more reliable, and a targa top. Play it up on how she would look better in a targa than a coupe, etc. It can work!

And if not, you really need to be more cautious and not get grounded, because you have inadvertently extended my quest for an NSX because now you cant trade up like you should be able to!
