It took a few months, but I finally replaced my front nose that was damaged on the way up to NSXPO2003 back in October. I had originally ordered a TAITEC 2000 JGTC Style Bumper from Chris Wilson @ Science of Speed when he was running that killer end of year TAITEC sale. However, while it was on it's way, TAITEC came out with their new S-TAI front bumper which I absolutely fell in love with.

It came in last month, and I got the ball rolling on painting and installation. In the process, I also painted a portion of my OEM styled carbon fiber hood (which I'll post pics later), and repainted my headlights, front fenders, Vinny MH replica skirts, and DreamzSport Wing in preparation for an application of a clear bra.

I still have a minor fit issue with the front piece that I need to resolve with my body shop, but all in all, I'm happy with the whole job, especially the paint. My front end was really beat up with rock chips from several canyon runs, and now the car is really shinin'!!!!

So this is the surprise. I'm glad you finally got it taken care of.

I like it. I especially like the bumper without the Acura emblem in the middle. Great job! When can we see it in the flash?

Just be careful getting in and out of parking lots. It ldoes look like a one piece bumper, right?

That looks great, how much of the hood did you paint out? I agree about the emblem, are you bringing it to the meeting tonight? I want to see this in person.

1. Great pic Randy...Did this extend your nose a little?

2. Partially painted your CF hood? Why not the vented hood to complete the look?

3. More frontal shots please. Hard to see the details..:D

Looks nice, goes well with the sidesteps. I also ordered that bumper from SOS. They told me I was going to be the first one with it in the US:rolleyes: , but its been almost 3 month now.

Looks AWESOME!! Fury!!
How much did it cost you for the complte install?

Thanks Randy! Now I'm going to copy off of you.
That looks nice.

C'mon, Fury, you can do better as the picture quality goes...
Just want to "Pour some cold water on your head".. :D

I like your new bumper... but better lighting and better quality is needed for my wall paper...!!!! :p

I was wondering the same. It seems longer, or more extended infront of the headlights, in particular the center or middle part. It just looks, I dunno, bigger...

In any case, it looks great. Congrats.

Looks good...if you want to sell your OEM front, let me know. My '91 NSX is Berlina Black and the front bumper needs replaced.

Randy!!! can you tell me how is the fittting? and do the body shop guys have any problem installed?

Hey Randy? Just wondering, How different is your front bumper than the Do-Luk (sp?) front bumper? Did you ever measure to see what, if any difference in length, this bumper added on the front end? Is just that the emblem is absent, is this causing an lengthend illusion?
The car looks nice.

Len,

Well, there are definitely some styling differences. The outer corners on the Do-Luck tend to have a slightly more rounded look, and the vents are set a bit wider. Either one (the Do-Luck or the S-TAI) I liked. I was actually going down the route of the Do-Luck at first. I also liked the idea of the CF underside on the Do-Luck, but that version was going to cost almost twice as much as the S-TAI. Since I haven't seen a Do-Luck in person, I can't speak in terms of fit, finish, quality, etc.

I still haven't measured, but the distance between the back edge of the turn signals to the bumber/fender seam is a bit longer than stock.
