Yes, they are OEM but I actually prefer the 02+ OEM look vs the 16/17 ones.

I think they look great with 25mm spacers all around with OEM RE040 tires. Flush fit

Those wheels look great on your car … and hauntingly familiar. ;) Glad to see you got them up and going.

I wonder why they look familiar . The rims were perfect until I tipped one over.

I'm thinking of getting the 02+ rear valance to give it the ultra fat look. The 25mm spacers make the car look awesome with the flush fit. I just hope handling is not compromised with more understeer

They looks awesome, the front 02+ 17" wheels looks huge compare to oem 16" front wheels.

Do you have pics from the rear or front showing the stance by any chance?

Beware, those flush wheels will chip up your car like crazy!

Is that speaking from experience?

I'll try to avoid poor dirty roads for now and if i get a small chip perhaps i'll go 15mm for the front.

Yes from experience. I purchased my NSX with 2,997 miles on the odometer. I immediately put in up on the lift and carefully inspected the bottom portion of the paint. It was perfect. Totally new. I then installed larger wheels and tires. Within 5000 thje paint was trashed. My front tires did quite a bit of damage but the road rash from the rears is insane. The rear fender is even chipped (behind the wheels). So even if I repaint the lower valiance it still will look like shit. I now have 13,000 miles and am definitely down grading the tire size.

By the way, I never drive on gravel, and never drive right after winter (when the road is sandy).

hondaholic, did your after market rims fit flush also? Also what tires were you running. From experience I know that semi slick are notorious for picking up rocks due to the soft compounds.

yes. I was running S02 Pole Positions 18 x 9 rims (285 35 18). I am going down to 265 at least.

For 285 I believe you need a 10" rim. The rear doesn't look like it would be a problem with the stock 255's and my concern is for the front.

Could 1" really make that much of a difference for chips and etc  I had 225's in the front with the 16" rims and now with 215"s and spacers it looks like the tire is about in the same area just the rim is pushed out more.

The chipping has less to do with tire or rim width than it does with the relative location of the tire to the edge of the car. 285 works fine on a 9 inch rim.
