Just headers...

What information can anyone offer regarding the advantage/disadvantage of installing only headers as opposed to headers and an exhaust. An after market air intake has already been added to the mix. I really don't like to advertise and am not sure that I would like the drone of an aftrmarket exhaust during my rather long [and exciting :0) ] drives to work.

What good is a 3" water pipe if the outlet is a 1" spigot?

Well its nice to see a relative neighbor,enthusiast/owner.On the pre 97 cars headers only will get you ~10hp,plus exhaust~15-20hp.Hopefully you will join the nsxca and join in on the fun of the poker run next Sat 8/10.Do a search for info on this event.Also if your interrested I'll be at pocono Sun 8/11 for an open track event.

My vehicle had intake, headers and stock exhaust it is great. Even when I change out the stock exhaust with aftermarket did not notice big difference, only at top end of rpm.

I run headers ( and comptech ECU) and am quite happy with the results. There is a noticable increase in power, and the sound is
slightly meaner, but not LOUD, just what I wanted.
