Just got the GTLW an hour ago

I've done my searching to know exactly what I was getting into when I install this tonight. Any chance they fixed this problem with the bend that they refer to here?

That threads 3+ years old so I imagine any issues have been addressed. I bought mine in 07 and it came with flawless fit. They are fairly easy to install.

I agree, really easy to install. You have a NA2 correct?(safe to assume) My advice, WD40 the nuts and bolts, let it soak in so you don't snap or strip the bolts. Then wear eye protection so rust/debris doesn't fall in your eyes. Then hang the GTLW on the exhaust hangers first, then put in the adapter pipes and evenly tighten everything.

Oh, and extra set of hands helps a lot, but not needed. If the rubber hangers give you any trouble, just spray them with WD40 as well. :smile:

I just put my GTLW on about a month ago and I love it! A bit of a drone on some lower RPMs, but just for a second or two which I don't mind one bit considering the rest of the time it sounds amazing.

Installation was cake. Hardest part was breaking the bolts, but just WD40 and sit for 10-15 minutes and it'll be no problem.

I went ahead and did the install before i even realized anyone replied to the post. This is exactly what i did^^^. It just was something I figured out along the way. SOUNDS GREAT! I honestly have no idea why everyone said it was too loud. Man, some of the exhausts from my civics and stuff back in the day would be ricey and annoying loud. GTLW sounds smooth and exotic. Props to Bryan at SOS for the smooth transaction.:wink:
