After months of discussion and research, weeks of searching and talking to the dealer, we took delivery of a blue on blue '04 tonight. My 5-month pregnant wife was so giddy over the car, I swear her adrenaline was making the baby do cartwheels.

Parts from SoS start arriving tomorrow, with a batch of go-faster goodies arriving from Comptech next week while I'm out of town. Though I'm observing all the break-in procedures, I'm confident that it's going to be everything we expect. We're both thrilled with the car and can't wait to start driving and modding it.

This last picture makes me realize I seriously need to clean the damn garage this weekend:

Glad to finally be on board....

Nice car and I love the color...BTW I like your other rides. :D

Ryan. Nice car, congrats. Congrats on the baby as well.
Make sure the rake in the corner is secure and all of the rest of that stuff hanging over the car, that could do some major damage.
Enjoy it.

Ryan,

The car is absolutely gorgeous! What are your mod plans? Sounds like you have a lot on the way already?

Thanks - I can't believe how nice the blue looks in person. The car is incredible - only 400 or so miles till the fun really starts!

We're planning on the Comptech 6psi kit + I/H/E + sways, the Eibach/Bilstein combo, NSX-R chassis bars, NSX-R hood + wing from SoS, a set of wheels and a host of other smaller mods. While we're not going quite as postal as we did building up the S2000, there's no way we're leaving it stock (otherwise the wife can just thrash me with the S2000 or the Evo). :D

Ryan

Sounds like you guys have an awesome relationship and a very nice set of cars.

Congrats on both!

Now what I really want to know is how you were able to convince your wife to buy a sports car when a baby is on the way?

You know what's funny? Sherwin's pics of your car are what swayed us to go with the blue!

The wife's daily driver is an Evo with a boost upgrade. She not only let me get the car, she's ordered mods for it. Is there any question why I married her? LOL

Ryan

WOW I seriously hope I can find a wife like that (although I have some time still).

Interesting, your birthday is the exact same as mine. Maybe I'll be successful and have lots of fast cars, too:D .

Congrats and welcome to the family!

regards:

Too funny - must have been something in the air back then; you were born a whopping 13 days after I was! :D

I have the same illness with my garage. (2) NSXs, (1) S2000 and just sold my Evo VIII a few months ago. :D

(*For those of you that have not seen Ryan's S2000.....OH MY LORD!!! It is amazing!!)
