Just picked up my '04 Silverstone/Silver leather off the truck tonight!!! Anyone who says these cars aren't world class, are 1. high 2. a pimple faced kid who's not driven anything faster than mom's LeSabre 3. so sensory deprived that 4 Viagra and a kick start vibrating blow up doll won't excite them. It's car #68 of this year and has 34 miles on it. My garage wreaks of the smell of burning paint, or whatever that new engine smell is. It's wonderful!! I wish the calipers weren't gold!?! Might have to paint those. It just looks odd to have them that gold/copper color. There are so many mountain passes around here I want to turn it loose on.

A friend of mine has a 911 turbo and a Viper. He's selling both to get a new Carrera GT!!!! I thought for a town of 9,000 people an NSX would be the baddest a-- car here. With a Carrera GT around and that V-10, I'll steer clear!! That's okay, I am in heaven. Thanks to all for your help with my purchase/lease dilemmas etc. I hope to be a good NSX prime member. Take care.

Doc C you are a lucky man. You are fortunate enough to buy a world class automobile that you will enjoy every time you drive the car. Enjoy. :)

That's great, Doc! I was wondering, did your silver beauty come from Sacramento, or Austin, perhaps? I saw silver 2004's at both places, and I was just wondering if one of those was yours.

Autophile,

Mine was the Austin one. There is a silver/silver in Colorado Springs brand new. It is #96 for this model year. Francesco Crisafulli is the salesman I talked to about it.

Spartan 2-3,

I'm glad I got silverstone. It looks great in the sun. Although, the NSX could be vomit colored and still be way better than most!!! I have to say, I think the Bose stereo is okay. I know most will slam me for saying that, and maybe in my old age I'm losing my audiophile-ness, but it's not bad. Not as nice as the Mark Levinson I had in my SC 430. I like the other stereo the NSX has. It's a, uh... something called VTEC stereo right behind the passenger seats!!?!?!! Great baritone voice!! :D Thanks for the congrats. Take care!!

Congratulations!

Congrats, Doc C...I look forward to meeting you and having you join the NSX crowd here in Colorado...there aren't many of us...stay in touch...Mike

Mike,

Thanks. I tried the Yahoo group thing. Haven't heard from anyone. PM me if you've heard anything, or what I need to do to be in NSXCO. thanks

Congrats Doc.... [Godfather]Welcome to da family[/Godfather]

There are eighteen members of the NSX Club of America in Colorado. That's enough so that you ought to hold some kind of club event in your area - a club dinner, or a tech seminar at a dealer, or something. The club has funds that can be used to subsidize a club event.

(And next year, NSXPO 2005 will be held close by, in another of the "four corners states".)

You mean there was a silver one in Austin? If I knew I would have gotten it!

My local has a yellow one but it was used for the Houston Auto Show and had paint damage while there, and of course multiple scuff marks from people coming in and out of it! Oh the horror!!!!

Yep. I can't remember the Acura dealer's name, but it was the one at I-35 @ Ben White. It was in the showroom, so you couldn't miss it. I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott just a couple buildings down, and so I could admire the car frequently. :D

norbtx,

Jay WOlfe in KC has a black with red leather in showroom, and as mentioned earlier, there is a silver one in CO Springs. Just FYI.
