I finally got back to chicago for the summer and went down to Autobahn for my first track day of the year. The south track was open to members and my best time was a 1:40.020...I felt pretty good with that time with all things considering.

A few weeks ago I had the shorter gearing installed in the car and I think it made a big difference. Shift points on the track were all different, so it was diving a whole new car. I was really impressed with my NSX...running GT-3's down like nothing :-)

There was a little understeer in the lower speed corners..any quick fixes to that I might be able to try? The reason I ask is that I am planning on going back tomorrow and wanted to see if I could make any changes to the car tonight and compare them to how the car felt today. Thanks

Jack

You might try dropping your front tire pressure a bit depending where they are now.

Any advice for Autobahn? I'm doing an event on the full track in two weeks and I've never driven there before. I've been studying video on youtube and a track map up to this point. I've noticed a couple of corners where you need to exit on the inside to set up the next corner but other than that it looks pretty straightforward.

Not really...just stay flat out through turn 7 and it won't be one you soon forget! Are you going over memorial day weekend?

June 4th.

Turns 7-8 look real similar to the 6-7 combo at Putnam Park-- always great fun trying to turn, brake and downshift all at the same time.

In turn 5N on entry, do you take an inside or outside line?
