As 2004 approaches, just a reminder to all track junkies and other newbies who want to experience driving on the track in a controlled high performance driving event/school.

The Sacramento Chapter of the NSXCA has entered a partnership relation with the Northern California Racing Club (known as NCRC) for the year 2004. For 2004, NCRC is the Official Track Club of the Sacramento Chapter of the NSX Club of America. NSXCA members in good standing can attend any NCRC event without being required to pay NCRC membership dues during 2004. As we plan our schedule and activities for the year 2004, we will be working with NCRC's management to help promote and recruit NSXCA members to attend such events that support the NSXCA's local interests. To benefit from this program you must be an NSXCA member. And NCRC was a generous supporter of NSXPO 2003.

For those not familiar with NCRC, please visit their website at: http://www.ncracing.org/index.html

NSXCA's Sacramento Chapter web site is: http://sacramento.nsxca.org/Sacramento/

We have posted the same info to the NSX lists as well.

The "Racing" in NCRC's name should not scare you. It's a nice marketing gimmick <vbg> though they are developing a separate program for those with more competitive adrenaline ;-) Many of us in NorCal have been attending events with and instructing for NCRC. And often, we have at least 4 to 5 NSXs at a minimum at any event. Last event at Thunderhill this October, there were 7 NSXs and the camaraderie and support given to each other was great.

Happy Holidays, and keep it safe ;)

Registration is now open for February 9 at Thunderhill and February 11-12 at Laguna Seca.

Should you join, please do mention that you were referred by NSXCA - Sacramento Chapter. The kudos that we receive in return are savings passed to you ;)

Also, we are planning our annual Spring and September NSX track events with NCRC. Unfortunately, thus far the second or third week of April are still not available, nor the day after Labor Day in September. April 1-2 and September 24 are days booked by NCRC and both are at Thunderhill. We would love to get at least one track event at either Laguna Seca or Sears Point, and most likely opt to run Thunderhill clockwise to give you more variety.

Let us know your thoughts regarding workable weeks in Spring and around September, and preferences for tracks so we can gauge interest. We might be able to use one of the NCRC dates as a joint program where the initial enrollment preference will be given to NSXCA members before they fill the slots with non-NSX NCRC members.

Cheers.
