Jump starting

I tried to jump start my NSX this past weekend and all I could get was a little clicking noise (no turnover or anything). What is going on?

1. Make sure you are letting it charge long enough.

2. Check the battery connections and cables.

3. Replace the battery.

4. Check charging system, starter relay.

I doubt you'll have to go past #3.

If you have a clicking sound it means you do not have enough current carrying capacity with the hook up. Since the NSX has a good + connection in the fuse fox in the engine bay, (see the owners manual, if I recall)it is most likely the ground connection that is weak. You need to get a really good connection to the engine block.

Try a more beefy pair of jumper cables. Jump from engine compartment as described in the owner's manual.
