Guys....Lets make a run on saturday @9:14AM

Meeting spot: Denny's off of Ortega Highway from the 5 freeway

this will happen AFTER the crystal cove meet.
the people attenting the meet should probably get together and do a mini-caravan to denny's for the run.

probably not. 6am is waaaaaaaay early for me. i don't even get up that early during the week!
 
I'm down. how far is the drive?

i was planning on doin dromo1 that day also...

at the denny's right off the 5 on the ortega hwy (hwy 74.)
take the 5 south, exit ortega hwy, turn left. the denny's/chevron will be on your right immediately after you cross over the freeway.
at 9:15am (don't ask me why.)

if we do just the ortega part of the run it will take about an hour. if we continue on to palomar (which is the best part of the whole run) it will be about 3 hours (considering we don't have any stops or do lunch.)

I'm honored that this Ortega run is named after me (thanks Calvin!).

But alas, tis not in the will for me to join thee. I've already made a commitment on Saturday morning. I was hoping for Sunday but, oh well.

Hey, maybe for now, we can name this....

Joel, I don't mean to disrepect you or anything related, but BULLSHITTTTT!!!!--Can't find any better excuse than "commitment made"? Heck!! How about "My hair needs to be wash?" I don't care Joel, I am begining to think you don't like us anymore.....shit, I am begining to feel you don't like me anymore. :rolleyes:

anyway... i fixed my stupid headlight issue and will be dropping the car off for a quick detail tomorrow.

im not very familiar with LA area and the exits so ill just follow those one that will be coming from the crystal cove meet.

i'm all about the palomar loop. i think it's the best part of the ortega run.
normally we get off the 15 in temecula and head out to warner springs before we hit palomar. this time i vote we skip all the b.s. and head right for palomar!!! maybe even head up the hill twice!!
...but we can decide all that tomorrow.

I didn't think my absence would tie you up in a bunch, Calvin.
Actually, it's a pretty important commitment I have. It's for a church project that's been going on for about a month now. We're finally tying everything together on Saturday morning at 9AM sharp and I'm looking at an all-day work schedule (NOT fun). I need to be there because we're on a very tight schedule and I happen to be playing a pretty important role in it. Everything needs to be finished by next Sunday--NO EXCEPTIONS. That is the only reason I can't go. Believe me, I'd rather join you guys for a nice drive. Besides, if this event were held this Sunday, I said I would have gone.

Nothing personal. Just need to get things done. I'm working on the project even now as I type this.

Hope you understand. Don't worry, I still like ya.

Hey Guys,

Sorry I missed all of you. I had a family emergency and was at the hospital all night.

I will make it next time.
