My parents had been nagging me to normalize my NSX to avoid future problems with authority. I've also been thinking about running cost of the 19 inch wheels. Little modification done to 91 bumper to fit the 02 lamps and requires 02 headlamp cup to be riveted and molded to the 91 bumper. Overall opinion on the mod is it is perfect. I will bring the car to the shop in two weeks to polish the car and the wheels. My next mod will be 02 bumper, sideskirts, rear diffuser, type-R replica wing and Simmons wheels.

I think your NSX looks great the way it is now  clean

I agree. I don't think you should put an 02 bumper. This is the first time I've seen the '91 bumper with 02 headlights, and I think it looks better than the full 02 front end. Keep it! Its unique and better looking!

the car looks a lil too high/ i think u need to drop it a lil

I agree, too high. Do you get nose bleeds being that high? J/K.

that car needs to be slammed STAT!!

The widebodykits are at the painting shop and waiting for buyers plus I'm selling it together with the TE37 for a mere $10k Brunei Dollar. 1USD is about 1.6 to 1.7 Brunei Dollar. I'm going to install the Eibach springs again once I got the Bilsteins. Yes I changed the kits because of the law here and also because of my parents constant nagging.

PARENTS???; Who listens to them anyways??

Didn't you have Tein's on your NSX? If so, why are you replacing it with Eibachs/Bilsteins

Law? what law is there about againts Kits (mods) in your country? never hear of such silly law about kits unless they are unsafe and falling off your car or something.

Was the local law enforcment giving you hard time because your car looked like a "Race Car" or were you speeding around town?

Even with your new mods I think they will still give you hard time because the car will still attract attention.

This has become a expensive project for you :(

I sold the teins to a friend of mine. It was good but after adjusting the height almost every week I had to bring the car for alignment every now and then. Then there is issue of comfort. I had to listen to my parents since I am still living under their roof and I am 28 already!

The land transport here is still stucked in 1968. They have not revise the law yet. Big looking exhaust, bodykits, window tint, big wheels, engine mods are not allowed here but we still do it. But I want to drive my NSX everyday and worrying about the law enforcement made me lost the enjoyment so type-R style from now on. At least I can argue that these items are in the catalogue of Honda.

Oh BTW, the kits and wheels all cost about USD6500 excluding shipment and tax.

From stock to widebodied back to stock(widthwise) within 8mths was it?That don't sound right, I sympathise, IMO bit of a waste though.
Agree with makena88,it will still attract too much attention, should have gotten another car for your everyday and the NSX for weekends, that would probably do nicely... IMO

If you had to switch back to the OEM panels, it was probably a good thing that you kept the OEM pieces instead of selling them. You did keep them, right?

Jin1976,

I think your front looks really cool :D
I was wondering what exactly did you have to do to make the 02-lamps fit it with the 91-01 model front bumper and hood to make it look the way it looks now ?

Okay here is how it was done. It requires the 02 lamp cup from the 02 bumper. I would recommend that you get it from SOS copy of the upper portion. As you can see the cups are riveted to the 91 bumper and yes you need to cut the front bumper to accomodate them. Before you do fit the 02 lamp first to see where the place the cup exactly. Then cover the combination lamps space since they are now become useless unless you want to make them as the mailbox. Note this bumper is just temporary until I can gather some money to get the 02 bumper.
