Sheikh'Cameron, as ghetto/elementary as this sounds... get an extra GPS-enabled smart-phone/PDA/etc' that is hidden & hard-wired while perma-on, so to speak. Battery draw will be negligible, or add a $10 floating-charger for extended non-driving periods.

Just a simple concept, that can be honed-in on & refined w/ proper equipment, creativity, and some geek'input...

I'm sure some security/I.T. firm can create some solution & working-setup for you, and cost would basically be negligible in the long-run. Some device you stealthly place in the vehicle, and can monitor it from your cell/mobile or desktop/notebook. Such setups exist in the 'States, basically to monitor the movement/travel-history of a vehicle.

Seeing how endeavorous this whole of experience of seeking/acquiring/shipping/receiving has been, we all want to make nothing ever goes wrong!
