This is what I came up with to improve the way my jack stands fit on the car. I had an existing set to use but they would probably damage the car and any I found weren't going to work the way I wanted.
Basically I modded my stands to have an adaptor in between the stand arm and the NSX stand points. They work great and have not had any problems.
This is the basic idea so use common sense and proper building techniques. I over built mine by quite a bit and used screws and hi strength glue to hold them together even though most of the load is compressive. Do not cut the slot at the lift points too narrow and shallow or when you have one side of the car raised and go to move the other you will put too much of a side load on the adaptor and have potential for problems (splitting wood or tipping over the jack if you really screw it up).
I made mine out of some scrap plywood and cypress I had laying around.
Just thought I'd share my idea that works perfect and better than any jack stand I could find.
