Jack Points (alternate ones)

A friend of mine has a lift in his garage. It is the kind where you drive onto the ramps. I know there are jack points along the edges of the underbody, but I was not sure if there is some safe place to support the car from inside those points. My friend has these tall jack stands that would be nice to use with the lift, but I couldn't decide which spot to use safely. So, we just used the NSX jack and jacked up each wheel one at a time from the normal jack points on the edge of the underbody.

Question: Is there a good spot to support the NSX from inside of the normal jacking points?

I'm not sure what you mean by "inside." There are three jack points on each side of the car. If you mean can you jack it up by the center point midway between the front and rear ones on the SAME side, the answer is yet yes. This is what people normally use to jack the entire side of the car for work because you can jack it up in the middle and just slid jack stands under the front and rear.

If you mean a point actually underneath the car as opposed to along the side sill, the answer is no.

Yeah, basically I have to jack the car from the ramp of the lift. My buddy has these cool jack stands that are about 4 feet tall (and can be raised even higher) that he got with the lift. We were looking for someplace BETWEEN the wheels to support the car to make use of the big jackstands. I figured the safe way to go is just use the jackpoints on the edge of the car's body.
