Well, I sold the NSX 2 weeks ago and bought a Lancer EVO VIII due to my current financial situation. The thing I will miss most about owning the NSX is being part of the tight knit community we have on this forum. Unlike the other forums out there where all people talk about are street racing and bashing cars, etc. I've made great friends I otherwise would not have met if it weren't for owning this great car. It's been a great ride!!

Jay,

Sorry to hear you go. But I can understand financial situations.

I was under the impression that your car was no longer for sale and I was surprised that it was sold not too long ago. That's a fantastic looking car. I was actually considering it when I was shopping around.

Stop by once in a while.

I have a feeling that once you get your Mitsubishi fling overwith, you'll be yearning for the X once again. ;)

Jay -

I'm so sorry you had to sell your NSX. I remember meeting you at the Autozotica event last summer and you were so proud of the car. If you ever see me driving around, flag me down. One day I will be living in Sacramento.

option,
man that sucks! :( I am so sorry to hear that you had to let go of your nsx. I even bought the same wheels as you to cuz I think it looks nice. Anyway, I hope ur financial situation improves and hope that in the future you can afford another nsx.

Dave :(

Bummer you had to sell the NSX.

I'm a little confused though because they aren't exactly giving those Mitsu's away. Last I heard they were getting about $7500 OVER MSRP. That should work out to be around 35K or better.

Was the NSX that expensive to keep?

Well, my NSX was my "fun" car and I had a commuter car. I was financing both cars so you could imagine what my monthly was for two cars. I sold both cars and bought the EVO. This will be my daily driver/fun car (I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too ;) ) I picked up the EVO for MSRP (32,500 out the door including tax) I already miss the NSX!!!! :( I am definately going to get another one when things get better.

I can understand your situation option2, I am facing a similar dilemma, and may have to decide what toys to give up. I'm actually considering giving up the bike and the daily driver to keep the NSX; though of course that will not be logical:rolleyes:

You will own an NSX again. Just tell yourself that and you can work through it. I would like to think you will always have a family here.

Once an addict, always an addict...... I am sure we will see you in an NSX again.
In the mean time, you will have your memories of an great car.:)

I looked at the EVO and I thought it was pretty cool. My biggest complaint is the interior looks like crap. For 32K, it should have a MUCH nicer interior and certainly look a LOT different from the entry level 17K car.

I would still really like to drive one as it has a TON of power and great handling.

If I had to sell the NSX, the EVO would certainly be a car I would consider, but I would NEVER pay over MSRP.. that is just silly.

Hey Jay,

Sorry to hear you had to sell the car. I really enjoyed the drives we were able to take out here in the East Bay and with Autozotica. Hope the EVO gives you at least half as much fun as we had in the NSX. I know the sadness you must be feeling as I may need to sell mine too if I don't find a job here soon. I know the withdrawal pain will be terrible. But at least we had the NSX experience. Anyway I hope to see you on the next EastBay Sunday drive. EVO's Welcome!!
