This was by far the best car event I have ever been to. I am going back again. Check out the website and register. Monterey, and Laguna Seca is incredible in so many ways, you all should try to go. Early registration is $100 for non-italian cars before Jan. 1st. We did a three day road trip with Arnon and JOJO. We will be doing this again down the coast line. Join us

Arnon - looked at the eBay listing: Somebody wanted to set a record of how many $ you can drop into a '92 - I think this is hard to beat!... but no way they get an offer close to 100K

But seriously.. back to Concorso- lemme know when you guys get serious and if there are really gonna be more than 2 or 3 NSX's there, and I'll jump in since it's in my backyard. Glad to hear the Ferrari guys were cool this year.

Let me drive it and i'll be your brother for life :-)

Dan, Fowler and I will do next year italian concorso for sure!

If you guys have nothing to do nov. 14th...here is something...I'm thinking putting on chevy logo on my hood so i can fit in  I would go to this one if i don't have to go to UT that weekend. These guys are very active in quarter mile race.

BEATER BRUNCH 2009

The Beater Brunch is a just for fun car show & get-together where people bring out their project cars & whatever they've been working on for others to see, enjoy & even vote on. This is one of our most fun, longest running activities that we host. This
year, the Beater Brunch is on Saturday, November 14th in Lynnwood, at Marco's Family Restaurant. (17525 Hwy 99 Suite A, 98037, 425-743-6627) We had about 40 cars attending last year with trophies in 13 different classes being awarded. We had just about everything in attendance last year-from Early Iron to a Merc lead sled & two tubbed entries, to a Hemi hot rod, and even one car on race gas and another wearing a supercharger. From primer & projects to paint & flames-it's all there. And instead of an entry fee, we've always asked that participants bring canned food items-and last year we collected over 70 pounds of food and $100 in cash for Northwest Harvest! So whether it's nice, not nice-or a project car that's not even started yet, you're welcome to come join us!

Is Arnon in Town? If weather pending, I will bring out the K5 Smoked Flamed 383 stroker for this. NO TOP, so weather is critical, Binnie and rain gear might be the answer.

I just registered my car for the event:biggrin: Check out nor.cal site for details

I already spoke with COZ and he put us in the same spot as last year. It will be a great time. I am heading down thursday for the ALMS, will you be there?

The American Le Mans scheduled next week? Unfortunately I will not be attending. I usually make the trek north for the superbike races and the concorso. I'll be watching on TV though!

By the way JFowler is Woodinville right out of Seattle? I used to live in Spokane which would be, well I suppose, on the other side of the state. Never the less the PNW is a great area.

Yes, I put the NSX's in the same spot this year which I thought was a great spot near the lake and green.

2009 was a pretty good turn out, I hope 2010 is as good. It was a great day. This year we have Ken's birthday to celebrate...I will bring the cake

I will be getting there Monday for the event set up. This year I am in charge of the 300+ volunteers and their duties for the event and probably anything else that pops up along the way. Which should be fun and make for a very long week.

If anyone is in the area before the day of the event, Friday, get in touch with me and I can have you out to the site for a visit and look around. Who knows, I may put you to work  (just kidding)

I very much enjoyed having you with me part of the day during the set up Arnon. You....are such a class act. I hope it wasn't to hectic, but Thursday is the crunch day

It was great sitting on the stone fence having lunch with you. It was the break I really needed. I will remember that moment in time always.

Thank you for lunch and more important, your friendship.
You are such a pleasant man to spend time with.

Loved the beer, it was very good.

I'll see you again my friend.
That, I'm sure of
Jim

I get to hang with Coz at the event earlier today, saw a few Lambos and Ferraris unload from trucks. Big year for Fiat at the event....See you guys tomorrow.

Last call! I made a reservation at Cannery Row Brewing Co. tonight at 8pm...come join us! 73 tap!

The Beer and cheesecake was awesome. Hopefully more NSX guys can make it next year. I know that I will be there for sure again. I love this event and the weekend of car stuff is so awesome. Ken, Sophie is awesome, I truely apologize for the blunder of words at ALMS:tongue:. Nice seeing you again and drinking your beer and eating your cheesecake. LOL
