Then perhaps you need to learn how to constuct a question. If you review this thread I think you'll discover others had the same impression.

I emailed the seller telling him this is exactly what I've been looking for and want to buy it. Hopefully he responds.

You just called me a "moron" because I qustioned whatyou asked. Well I just looked at your profile. You're an "Export and Luxvary Auto Wholesaler."

Want to call me a "moron". Why don't you as a dealier of exotic cars have an ability to spolit fraudis?

The seller just responded to my email. Cut and pasted below. He also sent about 15 pictures of the car. Same as in the ad. I think it's pretty cool that he absolutely will not negotiate anything below $10k. That's his final offer!

"Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response, but I'm in Mexico right now and I have been very busy.Any way, thank you for your interest in buying my car. The car is located in US right now and has US papers. Why is the price so low? I am going through some personal business, and I had to move out of USA. I cannot register the car here, as it is made for USA market , according to USA standards. So all that I want to do now is to sell the car at this price, because I need to sell it fast. The title is clean and you will have absolutely no problems to register the car in the States. I will tell you a few words about the car.
My 1997 Acura NSX with manual transmission it is in immaculate condition with 43,187 miles, rust free , no scratch and hasn't been involved in any accident. The motor runs very well. The interior looks great. This car needs nothing,The title is clear, it is not a salvage one. I want this transaction to go smoothly enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have little time at my disposal. I already have tones of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out. The car is like new, in perfect conditions, accident free, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever. a genuine road runner ready to be yours, but only if you shall understand and you won't make me loose time as it has already happened to me.
The price is $10000USD, THIS IS MY LAST PRICE. I will not negociate the price. I take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the car, to be sure that I'm not wasting my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions.
I attached a few pictures of the car and here is a short description:
1997 Acura NSX, Year: 1997, Miles: 43,187, Title: Clear, Exterior: Black, VIN Number: JH4NA2161VT000059.
So if you are interested please email me back.
Regards,
Gary Hudson"

I emailed him back asking how to complete the transaction if he is in Mexico and the car is in the U.S. Below is his reply email to me.

"Hi again,
Thank you for email me back. The car is ready for delivery to the new buyer. I want to use Expert Auto Delivery to complete the transaction. In exchange I will offer a 10 days period of testing the car from the moment you receive it from the shipping company.
So if you want to make this deal i will need your contact details(full name and address, phone#) so I can forward them to the shipping company and they will contact you with more payment and shipping info.
They will ask for a down payment to one of their agents in order to start the shipping ($2900). This first payment represents a part of the car's price so no extra costs for you. I already paid the shipping fees.
The car will be delivered with the title, owner's manual, 2 sets of keys, service records, and of course the bill of sale notarized and signed by me.
Waiting your email with the requested details.
Regards!

Wow, he even pays the shipping fees AND gives you 10 days to "try it out".

All you have to do is wire $2900 to a complete stranger who says he is in a different country!

Im game!

That is the same textbook scam for a cars like this. Seller isn't with the car. He has a personal problem. He offers to ship after a small deposit. Refund if you don't like the car.

I'll get interested in these when some here manages to meet the seller somewhere with a law enforcement person disguised as a spouse.

just so everyone knows, I know it's a scam. I'm not seriously trying to buy the car. I just want to see how far I can go with the guy.

When you post "possible scam" in the subject line of the post it would indicate to the reasonable person that you aren't sure if it's a scam or not. I though that as well and I don't think I'm a moron.

i got my 1997 nsx for 29900 2 months ago. really great condition.
but 10000 is a 100% scam.
autotrader has listed few NSXs with some increditable prices. dont even need a try because no one will sell it at those prices unless it's crashed already.

i have seen 2 spa yellow nsx that asking for 20000. but those cars are crashed badly already

The only way law enforcement is ever going to begin to investigate and prosecute these rip-off artists is if people continue to fall pray to them. So to those ignorant enough to fall for the scam, I say go ahead and make the deal and send the money. Just be sure to follow it up with a police report and constant follow-up calls to the police when they do nothing about the fraud. Presently law enforcement does not care to do anything about this type of criminal activity. Good luck.

Thank you.

LOL. if it's for 10000, probably there are a few people that gonna fight each other for that price. final winner owns the car. JK:biggrin:

No one is a BIG M here.

correct me if i am wrong.

I emailed the guy last week and told him I wanted to look at it first. Guess what? He never responded. How shocking!
