Is this NSX a good buy?

Good day everyone,
I live in Japan and have been interested in a 1st gen Honda NSX for awhile. I have someone here who can look at and buy it directly however I wanted to check with the experts here first. The price at the current exchange rate is $47,162 and it wouldn't cost much more than that as I don't need to ship it to another country. I want an automatic and the miles seem high however is high mileage an issue for NSX's since they are typically very reliable? On a different note, why is there a LHD NSX in Japan?

It's actually cheaper to import an Acura MT car to Japan and many people there do that to get a manual. This is because most of the NSXs sold in the JDM market were autos and the local MT cars carry a huge premium.
