I have found by using a detail spray that eliminates static electricity, it will reduce the amount of black residue on the car. TheWaxShop Detail spray or Zaino Bros' Ultra Clean "Gloss Enhancer" Spray works extremely well on all sorts of colors especially white.I tested this theory after using Zaino "Z5" over the weekend, and began driving my bright white NSX up to the store. When I looked at my car it had a lot of black dust residue in the rear side panels. I sprayed the rear panels with the detail mist and wipe off the dust before driving back home. I did not see any build up of residue that I saw at the store. This lasted for at least a couple of days before I had to detail spray my NSX again. Hope this helps!
