haha
this is a 1992 NSX, but it is an automatic.
silver color

the original owner is a car collector.
this car is very original, no modification what so ever!
even the radio/cassette is original

the interior is in excellent condition,
and the body is also perfect, no damage, not even damage from supermarket trip.....
never been into accident...

and to proof all these, the car is only 15000KM!! (or 11000miles)

selling for US$24000 (notice that Hong Kong import tax is high)
***this is equal to about US$14000 if selling in USA market.

addition comments;
the automatic gearbox is the problem that I am considering now.
**assuming the mileage is accurate...

Note: the car shop accepts to take this NSX back to Honda for full inspection before I pay my money.
(he is this confident that the car is very clean!!)

I have been searching for a "manual" model ....
but only end up with "abused NSX" or "fully modified NSX"..
I really want an "original" car, and this automatic 1992 model is the closest I can find after 3years of search....

it is a big temptation......hmmm....
**I don't know why there are so many automatic NSX (I think 90% of the total sale)....in Hong Kong...

Maybe most buyers in HK are just looking for a pretty car? not really into driving it hard. or older and wealthy buyer prefers automatic. My dad ask me why didn't I buy an auto nsx, because he can't drive a manual, and he wants to drive the nsx. I told him to go buy his own auto nsx;)

IMO you should buy an automatic only if you want an automatic. I think you will be unhappy if you really want a manual and 'settle' for an auto. The auto in the NSX is not a particularlly advanced auto either. 4spd. Most autos now are 5 and even 6 speed. Even though the NSX has a shift lever near the steering wheel, don't confuse it with a 'paddle shift' semi automatic/manual such as Ferrari, BMW, etc.

There are times I would like an auto when I get lazy about shifting, but I would not have purchased an auto NSX.

My opinion only. but you've waited so long to buy just the car you want. It will take only hours to buy it, but you will be living with it a long time. It should be what you really want.

thx for all the informations
I was actually searching for a used Testarossa, or 355
and I am member of ferrarichat.com

but I don't think I can afford the "unpredictable" maintainence cost of a F-Car

**simply oil change means US$1100 in Hong Kong
**anything breaks down means US$5000-10000 easily...

so I must not buy a F-car until later time in my life, when my business does better

I have asked my friend, who imports cars from Japan directly...
(parallel import)
to search for a used NSX-R in Japan, instead of searching in Hong Kong for 3 years...and no result...

so I think I will have my NSX-R sitting in my garage sometime before Christmas..

keeping update...!

Oh...I love NSX-R :D :D :D

is it true that
NSX-R was only built between 93-95
and 96 and on...were NSX-S and NSX-S Zero (no power steering)

and the NSX-S/NSX-S Zero is lighter than the NSX-R version??

I saw this information in FAQ

Wow! I said I'd never buy another automatic NSX, but I'd buy that one for $14,000 US in a heartbeat. (There has to be some-
thing wrong with it at that price.)

I say buy it!

A low mile all original NSX like that is always a excellent choice.
If you're not happy with it, I'm sure you will have no problem selling it.

Just my $.02
