Is this a fair price for 1998 nsx-t with 55000 mi?

You haven't given us anywhere near enough information to give you a good answer to that question.

Has the car been in any accidents?
Is all the maintenance up to date? (including timing belt, etc.)
Has the car been painted?
Any mod's?
How many owners?
Clean car fax?
How are the tires?
What condition is the paint in?
How's the interior look?
Does everything work (A/C, stereo, heater, etc.)?

That's actually a very good price if its condition is as to be expected. It's still a fair deal even if it has some minor bumps and bruises IMO. Is it on the stock clutch?

I would say it's a good price, but you need to provide some more information.

Like..
Maintenance History
Condition of car
Any print work
Any mods
Clutch
Timing belt changed
Tires etc

I paid slightly more than that for my 97 about 18 months ago and based on my research at the time, it was a great deal. I couldn't find a 97+ cheaper. Mine had 45,000 miles when I bought it with nothing wrong with it. 100% stock.
I would say search through the forsale section and get a baseline price. Make sure to factor in mileage, TB/WP, wrecks, etc, etc.
Sounds fair though assuming condition is good.

I love how everyone and their mother says "never driven in the rain" cars dont melt in the rain, every car has or will see rain at some point for 98% of cars....

Based on your description, sounds like a fair price.

My first two NSXs had never been driven in rain, nor smoked in, parked outside overnight, eaten-in, had kids or pets in them, only hand-washed, etc, etc...real garage queens, and they sold quickly and for a premium, so for an anal-retentive like me, the effort was worth it in the end.

But I can see the other side, too. Those who drive their NSXs anywhere, anytime, any conditions get more enjoyment from them than I do. My hats off to them.

my car never sees snow and rarely park it out of sight. always garaged kept. never smoked, ate in, kids or pets. Had a few crazy women in it, but they were tamable....

Somewhere in the mist, there has to be room for more than one period [.] in that sentence.

When did your NSX conceive kids?

Kidding

Price seems fairly reasonable, a bit low even, for a NA2 with 55k miles.

Good luck and congrats on the find.

Even scarier is that I sold my 350Z to fund my future NSX.

Sadly, Canadian buyers are enjoying a 30% discount on the sale price. ;)

Seeing these NA2 prices makes me wonder why NA1 prices are so high.
