I always thought the Seibon was a slightly different profile and shape, never looked that closely. However, is it basically just a direct copy (appearance wise) of the 02+ OEM valance?

Sorry if this is obvious and I'm missing something...

Its pretty much the same style only thing different is the OEM is a one piece valance with three bars in the middle of it and the CF Siebon is a two piece with out the three bars.Almost alike.

OEM looks better and fit perfect.

CF Seibon is nice too but only thing is it doesn't fit like the OEM does :frown:

I bought an 02+ Oem rear valence, took it to the body shop to get it painted. They said oh we could have gotten that for you, how much did you pay for it? I had paid $800. They said they could have gotten for $450. So check it out if you are thinking of going that route.

Sooooo... How does the body shop get it so cheap? Anyone else experience getting good prices at body shops?

Because it's a body shop. They get discount on all OEM parts.Depending on the relationship they have with the dealer they can get even more discount

Lucky for me I have a friend that owns a high end body shop that if I would of need any OEM parts I wouldn't have a problem getting it and getting it at a special discount price

The CF Seibon is a direct copy of the GT-One valance (do a search). The GT-One valance highly resembles the 02+ OEM but it's mildly more aggressive in almost every way while still resembling the OEM. The fins come out farther... The center diffuser is more aggressive.. and not to mention it's in CF...etc..

I personally wanted the more aggressive look and to get it to fit right I paid for it with my time. The results are outstanding.

A quick search and you'll find this...there's many more threads if you search.

I have the GT-One. Fiberglass, like carbon fiber can easily be dremaled/trimmed to accomidate most aftermarket quad tips. I'd much
do that than butcher a pricey OEM for quad tips. Just food for thought if you plan on quads in the future.
