Is my car salvaged or just a victim of crime?

Hey primers,
If you have seen my previous threads then you know my nsx was thrashed. Mostly due to the sunroof and fiberglass crap kit it was laced with. I have the car titled in Ca on a salvaged title but I just finally got enough courage to see just why and car fax'd the report. It seems I own a really hot car, literally. It was stolen when in Arizona. Then it appears to be recovered in Illinois. Arizona law requires salvaged title on stolen vehicles.
I am trying to make sense of this all. Because, the latest registration which I did says it's a rebuilt title. But then the title I own says salvaged. I hate legal work. Can someone help me determine sense of this?
It also says, severe damage reported but no details on such? Then it says structural is good?
Have a look, I am starting to think I got one sweet deal at 16k. FYI, sunroof is in recycling bin.....
Please see bottom of page for clear car fax.

Hey Jinks,Restored salvage means that instead of the vehicle being sold off to a salvage yard it was instead repaired and registered to operate on the road again. In California to get that your supposed to show you had the repairs done, a dmv vin inspection and a brake and lamp inspection and of course a smog test. Arizona does not total every theft they will just as a accident if the repair costs are more than the value of the vehicle. If it was missing for a while and the insurance company paid the person off due to not rcoevering the vehicle that can also make it a salvage title due to the layout and the vehicle deemed a total loss due to non recovery.I can't make out the carfax well enough to read it all but simply if you enjoy your car, it runs good and your happy with it then back yeah you got a good deal.It won't ever be worth as much as a clean title vehicle but it could bring roughly 60% of full value on resale.Hopefully I answers your questions.

Yeah I know, the images suck. I will work on that. I am already in it for the long haul with this car. But it'd sure be nice to know exactly what happened. There is some odometer issues but there is zero accidents reported on the descriptions yet in the overview it says major damage? It is kinda confusing. The structural thing is checked green, the blue book is listed only 1000 less then normal purchase, and there are salvaged and rebuilt titles on here. Just trying to figure this all out. I will scan and attach the report tomorrow and post. Thanks.

Most likely it was recovered and the vehicle was vandalized extensively such as the dash, airbags seats and such either stolen or damaged. Insurance companies are often scared to repair high end vehicles and just total them so they don't have to deal with it as most owners will insist the vehicle is totaled and they get paid out due to not wanting a vehicle that had lots of damage.
carfax had some value but it's by no means accurate. An example I e owns two vehicles that were total losses but carfax was clean as far as the accidents that caused them to be totals in fact one remained a clean title due to the insurance companies mistake.
the best ways to find out what's been done have it inspected at a good body shop and a good service department it will cost a couple hundred each but they should be able to give a good idea what's been done.
other way is to trace the owner history back and try to get in touch with the prior owners for more info. That is much easier today than it used to be.
