Is it possible to install 4.23 gears without taking out the transmission..?

I heard you can remove the valve covers and drop them in there and they will work their way down to the transmission, so try that :smile:

Well, to elaborate on what Shawn said, you could install them, but they probably wouldn't work.

You have to open up the transmission to get to the gears, including the ring and pinion gear. And it will take quite a lot of labor to do so. Ain't no way around it.
