Hmm, that's a very interesting idea. I've got a SmartyCam mounted on my gokart which overlays data from the race computer onto the video. The camera has built in accelerometer and GPS as well for overlaying G-forces etc.It should not be overly complicated to use the iPhone's built-in GPS/accelerometer to overlay similar information over track video in realtime, or worst case as an export function.
