Yes that's what I'm saying but you'll need a way to turn the amp on by it's 12V trigger. You can wire it to a switch or have it come on idle with the ignition. Most JLs have no signal sensing circuit. These are available if you really want one but I'd just wire it to a button that simply turns the system on.
