I would first like to say hello and thank all of you for your great posts and responses that i've been reading over the past little while. They have really helped me out and answered pretty much every question i can think of.

I am finally at the stage where i am ready to purchase an NSX and now just need to find the right one. Being a canadian, I have had a lot of trouble finding one up here for a reasonable price and have debated about bringing one up from the states, but with duty, etc, etc it seems that just waiting for one in Canada would be the logical thing to do. So i've found one up here that seems to be good, and just wanted to know if any of you have thoughts on it or if you could provide a carfax for me, here's the info on it:

1991 NSX - Silver - JH4NA1154MT800113
92000km (57040Miles)
It is not in snap ring range and it had major service done at 90000km(belts, water pump, etc). Completely stock except for 95 rims ... interior in mint condition, exterior shows minor paint chips on the front and there is a scratch in the paint about 2 inches long over the right rear tire. Other than that, exterior is mint. No pictures, sorry, camera is broken.
The price is $40,000CDN($32,226USD) and that is their "bottom line".

This seemed a little high to me, but it would save me the hastles of having to import a vehicle. My thought is that the car is worth somewhere around $29,000USD.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this or if they think i should hold out or try to import.

Thanx.

Price sounds just OK to me. I would think it is worth closer to 30K, but it is nice that all the maintenance is done. (ie 90K service). That would have cost you a pretty penny. Any idea if it is on a new clutch, when it was replaced, of it is ever has been replaced?

Hi

Don't now about price. But that sounds like a good car from what you write.

How about hoses? Have they been changed? Something to look into if they have not been changed.

Regards

So i just spoke to the dealer and apparently the 60,000mile service wasn't actually done on the car .... I was just wondering what something like that is going to run me and what exactly would be involved besides water pump and timing belt. I looked at the list in the FAQ but i just wanted to get some ideas from people on what they have paid, and what other repairs needed to be done.

Also, i think he may offer to throw in the labour, but make me pay for parts to help rectify the situation, so i was wondering how much a timing belt and water pump are for the car.

thanx in advance for all of your help

There are nsx's in Canada with lower K's for around for the same price. You need to look a bit more.

Where is this car located, maybe I can help you out by looking at it.

You'll find typical prices posted in the FAQ. Not under Maintenance - Schedule, where you saw the list of services, but under Maintenance - Costs.

Parts only, around USD350-400.
