Intermittent SRS Light

Lately my SRS light has been coming on intermittently when I turn a sharp corner. The previous owner had installed a Mono wheel, which I had him return to stock before I bought the car. I suspect that the cable reel (clock spring) was aligned incorrectly when the factory wheel was reinstalled. Any advice?

It seems to be a problem for anyone who has messed with the steering wheel at one point or another.

IIRC, no one has found a true solution yet for this problem.

I have searched these forums for a while to no avail.

TaDa! The cable reel was misaligned one turn. I realigned it and everything appears to be fine. After reading all the horror stories on Prime, I would have thought it would have damaged the reel, but apparently not.:biggrin:
