somewhere someone posted the color gray that is very similar to the factory gray used on the center console of our cars. It was bought from discount auto or auto zone or something. i did a search and didn't get anything. Somebody posted DIY on how to touch it up or repaint it when it is scratched and any links to this or info wouyld be great
thanks in advance:smile:

You are referring to this thread. The paint is not a perfect match but comes close enough if you do the ashtray cover and the console trim. It's a lot of work to do it yourself, the key is taking your time.

Note the last post in the thread. The color is no longer called Honda Graphite Gray. Just match the number and you will be fine.

You may also want to PM pbassjo. He redid mine, and it is about as close as you can get:).

I've done a few with aerosol cans & to be honest wouldn't again. Even though I am extremely anal about the prep, I found that my own console (& more inconveniently my nav pod) bubbled in the hot summer sun.
Worth the extra IMO to have a pro paint it with quality materials. A pro can also colour match perfectly (hopefully if you pick the right painter!) rather than something close.
So now I just do the fill & prep myself & take it to my painter to shoot it.
