As I'm renovating some systems inside the car, I noticed that many of the parts I removed had foam padding that deteriorated over time (glovebox, speakers, etc), what product is out there that could best replace the worn out material?

A trip to an auto upholstery shop or upholstery supplier is in order. You can buy foams in sheets with different thicknesses starting at about 1/8" and going up. In addition to the thickness variable it also comes in different types and densities. When I had my door liners off, the foam under the leather inserts looked like open cell. I don't know whether Honda used open cell for all the under vinyl / leather padding. I expect that Honda probably used different thicknesses and perhaps densities at different locations. Best to take a sample of the foam that you want to replace to the upholstery supplier and at least they may be able to match up on the thickness and closed versus open cell. If the sample has really deteriorated it may be a guess as to the original density. The upholstery supplier may be able to advise as to the best choice based upon the application.
